There has been a boom in the financial industry in the last few years and the numbers and complexities of financial investment opportunities are growing exponentially. And along with this explosive growth, so are the scams associated with the forex currency trading. But also be aware that along the lines of the forex trading information that you come across that many forex trading firms are also legitimate - it is those companies that are defrauding traders that you should be cautious about.

FOREX - Dollar hits 6-week high vs Euro

(Reuters)

The dollar hit a six-week high against the euro on Monday as investors expect new Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke to signal that the central bank is not done with its 19-month streak of raising interest rates.

The dollar had jumped to multi-week highs against the euro and the Swiss franc on Friday, recovering from an initial slide after data showed the U.S. trade deficit swelled more than expected in December and ended 2005 at a record $725.8 billion.
